I am a healthcare worker with my adjustment of status pending for my green card. Who should I contact to get my visa credentialing for the green card requirements?
The regulations have been released for Registered Nurses (RN), Occupational Therapists (OT), and Physical Therapists (PT). (You can find numerous articles regarding the regulations and procedures in the headlines and old headlines sections of our website.) Registered Nurses can contact The Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) for requirements for their visa credentials. Occupational Therapists can contact The National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), or they can also contact CGFNS according to the regulation that will go into effect on June 29, 1999. Physical Therapists can contact CGFNS or The Foreign Credentialing Commission on Physical Therapy (FCCTP). The contact information is as follows: CGNFS: RNs, OTs, and PTs |
