My H-1B visa in my passport is for Company A. I transferred my H-1B since then to work for Company B. Do I need to get the new company stamped in my passport? Can I travel?

As long as the H-1B visa in your passport is still valid (i.e. it has not expired), you do not need to get your visa re-stamped for your new company. It is important that you keep in mind the following when traveling:

1. The visa in your passport must be valid (not expired) when you travel outside and when you return to the United States,

2. It is very important that you bring the new original approval notice for Company B with you when you travel,

3. It is also advisable to have a current letter from your company stating that your job offer is still valid in order to avoid hassles when you travel.
