Priority Date Advances PDF Print E-mail

For those of you who have not seen a list of the priority dates for May of 2007, it would be a good idea to take a look because there has been substantial movement, particularly in the EB-3 Employment-Based category.

If your priority date has become current, it would be a good idea to begin preparations for your immigrant visa process, whether it is via Adjustment of Status or Consular Process, right now.

Note that section Section F of the Visa Bulletin below alludes to the possibility that the priority dates could move either way from one month to another. Therefore, if your priority date is now current and you wish to Adjust Status, you should be planning to file your Adjustment of Status by 30th at the latest (although May has 31 days, you have to allow for the one day of delivery.) If for some reason you are pursuing the Consular Process, you should be working to arrange the interview date with the National Visa Center and your home consulate prior to May 31st.
