The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) has posted a letter from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) which addresses travel delays, specifically providing contact information in the event that these delays are related to verification of identity or to repeated additional check-point screening.

Additionally, the website for the TSA - http://www.tsa.gov - has a great deal of valuable information, including Travel Tips for Travelers and Consumers. This particular page includes the following:

  • Security Checkpoint Wait Times,
  • Claim Form for Missing or Damaged Items (SF95),
  • 2004 Holiday Season Travel Tips,
  • Locking Your Checked Baggage, and
  • Am I wearing the right shoes?

Both U.S. and foreign nationals may find tips and information to benefit them during planning for this holiday travel season.
