Lorenzo Lleras knew even before starting law school that he wanted to concentrate on some area of law that was international in scope. His area of interest ultimately led him to what he describes as the "privilege" of helping foreign nationals navigate the turbulent waters of U.S. immigration law.

There is no area of law that he would rather be practicing. In large part this is due to the fact that like his partner, Jose, Lorenzo is himself an immigrant who had to undergo the same immigration process that our clients must undertake. Based upon his family's immigration experience, Lorenzo strongly believes that his clients, and the public at large, are entitled to as much feedback and understanding of the process as possible.

He attended the State University of New York at Binghamton where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in liberal arts (Political Science and Economics). He chose the University of Miami School of Law due to the strong reputation of its international law program. (However, he admits that after spending several years in Northern New York, the sunshine was an important factor in his decision.) His professional goal is to ensure that the firm, under his leadership, provides "the best legal immigration services to all of our clients."

Mr. Lleras is the Managing Partner of the firm.
